Welcome to the Second Annual Willowbrook Jr Warriors MLK Weekend Shootout!

The Willowbrook Jr Warriors MLK Weekend Shootout returns January 17–18, 2027 at Willowbrook High School.

The tournament is for feeder and school-based programs, with 6th–8th grade boys and girls competing in A and B divisions. Each division will feature four teams playing a round robin, giving every team a 3-game guarantee.

LOCATION: Willowbrook High School, 1250 S Ardmore Ave, Villa Park, IL 60181

DATES:

- Sunday, January 17, 2027 | Boys | 6th–8th Grade | A & B

- Monday, January 18, 2027 | Girls | 6th–8th Grade | A & B

ELIGIBILITY: Feeder, school-based or travel programs where the majority of players will attend the same high school. No AAU/select club teams.

EARLY BIRD: $199/team when registration and payment are completed by October 25, 2026

REGULAR REGISTRATION: $225/team beginning October 26, 2026

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: December 15, 2026, or earlier if the applicable division fills.

PAYMENT: Payment is required to secure your team’s spot. A team is not confirmed until registration and payment are complete.

REFUND / CANCELLATION: Full refund through Nov. 15; 50% refund Nov. 16–Dec. 15; no refunds after Dec. 15. View Full Policy

GAME TIMES: First games begin at 9:00 AM; last games end by approximately 6:00 PM.

ADMISSIONS: $10/day per spectator; Seniors 62+ $5/day; Veterans and active-duty military free with ID; Children 12 and under free.

CONCESSIONS: Full concessions available on site.

TOURNAMENT SHIRTS: Tournament shirts are included. Sizing and ordering details will be sent to registered teams.

CHAMPIONSHIP RECOGNITION: Division champions receive championship shirts and a postgame championship team photo.

FAQ

Can teams play up/down a grade?

Grade-level play is preferred. Requests may be considered for competitive balance but are not guaranteed.

Can we request specific game times?

Confirmed teams will have an opportunity to identify genuine scheduling conflicts later. Accommodations are not guaranteed.

When will schedules be released?

Schedules will be published through Fastbreak after divisions and the tournament field are finalized.
